On the occasion of a two-day recertification audit on the 21st & 22nd October 2014, we were again able to demonstrate that Geiger & Klotzbücher fully complies with the implementation requirements of the BRC/IoP (British Retail Consortium – Industry of Packaging) standards and we achieved the highest possible mark: an A grade.
In the past years, the hygiene, safety, and quality requirements imposed on food packaging have become more and more stringent. Increased consumer awareness has resulted in stricter guidelines and supervision according to the provisions of European legislation.
For this reason, and to comply with the BRC/IoP standard, we have introduced numerous measures to further enhance hygienic integrity and minimize the risk of contamination.
The successful recertification audit confirms and reasserts the systematic optimization of our flexible packaging production methods pursuant to our long-standing quality and hygiene management processes.
